Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Monday met with revered traditional rulers from across Adamawa State in a strategic engagement aimed at deepening collaboration for peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and community development.
The meeting underscored the important role traditional institutions continue to play in maintaining stability, preserving cultural heritage, and supporting grassroots governance.




“Our traditional rulers are key partners in building a peaceful and united Adamawa,” Governor Fintiri stated. “Their voice carries great influence, especially in shaping values, resolving disputes, and fostering unity among diverse communities.”
Governor Fintiri emphasized the need for continued synergy between the state government and the traditional council, particularly in tackling emerging security challenges, youth restiveness, and communal tensions.
The monarchs expressed their readiness to continue supporting the administration’s efforts in promoting peace and inclusive development across the state.
